Who We Are
We have been in business since 1950, when Jack L. Whitmore purchased the first shop across from the Alaska Railroad. We relocated to the current property in 1959. An addition was made in 1964, along with new oilfield equipment and training for oilfield work. Our shop size is currently 10,000 square feet. With a growing commitment to keep up with our customers' needs, we added a CNC department in 2000, which specializes in manufacturing custom solutions. The CNC department provides customers with the ability to mass produce parts that meet their specific needs.
